The Location
This years Symposium will be held in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard within an 84,000 square foot space filled with entrepreneurs focused on engineering, robotics, AI, nanotechnology, and more. Nearly a century ago Building 128 was a home for Military innovation and, after decades of being idle, has been rehabbed and revitalized into Newlab.
Newlab opened in June 2016, as a multi-disciplinary technology center. Housed in Building 128 of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, building serves as a hardware-focused shared workspace, research lab, and hatchery for socially oriented tech manufacturing. Current members work in fields such as robotics, connected devices, energy, nanotechnology, life sciences, and urban tech.

Unlike traditional symposiums, Robotics First is breaking the mold by prioritizing interactive engagement and meaningful dialogue. In a unique approach, speakers will be asked to condense their presentations, allowing ample time for open discussions and Q&A sessions with attendees. This innovative format ensures that every participant has the opportunity to contribute, exchange ideas, and explore the nuances of robotics in Public Safety firsthand. Join us for a dynamic and collaborative event where your voice truly matters.
